When true partnership takes place, you can expect a wonderful outcome. This was true recently in a remote part of an African country when a helicopter initiative and a hovercraft project linked up to ensure enrichment to local communities.
Here is a news clip from HoverAid:
HoverAid is an international charity using hovercraft to support remote communities in Madagascar – one of the world’s poorest countries. HoverAid works where other organisations can’t… reaching the unreachable. HoverAid hovercraft, bring aid and development to remote communities in Madagascar where hunger, malaria, HIV and lack of clean water affect the health of millions. HoverAid’s hovercraft reach unreachable villages when Africa floods, providing relief organisations with access to those most in need.
The other partner was Helimission. Such joint-ventures are special and bring much appreciation from people in isolated situations. This year Helimission celebrates 45 years of operation. It was a privilege to welcome their current director to the UK last year to share with friends here in Somerset. Our town hosts a large international helicopter manufacturing company called Leonardo.
