Treats Restaurant
This is a new venture at Victoria Coach Station, London. It is an excellent venue just opposite Stand 17 in the concourse. While checking it out, I met the designer and was able to thank him for being so creatively practical with space and colour. The meals are very good value according to regulars I met. As yet, I haven't eaten there but have checked the menu and seen the tasty plates being served. There is an internet section too. The restaurant is part of a small chain of some 6 or so venues in London.
Restaurant in Yeovil
While hosting friends in my home town, I discovered a good place to eat which I had not tried before. It is the De Boer Coffee Shop. At street-level is a coffee shop with a cluster of tables outside under a shade while upstairs is a small restaurant. For me it was great as the set up is simple but pleasant. There is a series of windows to watch life outside and the meal was well presented as well as tasty. I was particularly impressed by the flexibility of the staff and their warm welcome.
Fleet Air Arm Museum
We are privileged to have the famous Fleet Air Arm Museum quite close to us in Yeovil, Somerset, UK. For a day out it is a good venue with plenty to see and good facilities for family groups. http://www.fleetairarm.com/
The Train Line
When booking rail journeys online, Trainline is very good. I have used it several times now and am very pleased with the whole system. You have a choice of methods of booking and receiving your tickets. You can even have them waiting in stations up ahead for you to retrieve from a machine there. Fisherman's Rest in Malawi
