Creative Funding

Youth Clubs, Schools and Community Groups are highly motivated to generate funding for worthy causes. One challenge they face is the capital to activate the funding-generation. One way to assist could be a Trust with the key vision/purpose to make available initial grants of say £100 for each participating group.
Using this loan to generate funding would be accomplished through the pooled ingenuity and entreprenuership of the receiving group. Their goal would be to increase the value of the initial investment as many times as possible in a given time-frame - say three to six months.
At the end of the scheduled period, the initial loan would be repaid to the Trust for renewed use by other recipients. The profit would be donated to the specified charity(s) agreed on at the commencement of the funding project. If an association of say ten groups joined in the initiative together, there could be some competitive aspects to the scheme. The generated funding would as before go to the specified charity but the winning group, i.e. the group that made the highest return on their gift could designate the amount they accumulated to their chosen charity, if they so wished. The runners up could be the group that used the most creative activity to generate funding, they could also receive a donation from the Trust.
